Who are the ladies of Renard?
Today Renard is ran by great great granddaughter Magali and her business partner Jessica, two fierce ladies that have high ambitions for Renard. Follow their story and get a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of Renard.
Magali Renard and Jessica Torres Hurtado have known each other since they were very young. Magali is the entrepreneurial type while Jessica is a dedicated foodie. Magali: “When I was 15, my father told me about the history of our family company. The story has stuck with me ever since. A few years ago I felt a need in the market for gastronomic non-alcoholic drinks and the idea came to revive the family company.”
Magali has known Jessica since childhood. Throughout their studies, they often bumped into one another. After her studies, Jessica was part of a startup company and worked in restaurants. When Magali was looking for someone to build a company with her, she knew right away Jessica was the right person. And so Renard came to be revived.
Jessica: “Magali and I both enjoy life, friends and sharing moments with good food. We wanted to make a drink that is alcohol-free and makes the dining experience even better”.
Both ‘ladies of Renard’, as they are called by the chefs they work with, are ambitious and have set their aims high. “We want Renard to become the reference in the alcohol-free gastronomic drink market.”
